Margaret Kimura was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. Since her father was a music producer, and her mother a television commercial producer, she was raised steeped in the entertainment world.
Margaret first began working with photography and makeup at the age of 8. While most other girls her age were still playing with dolls Margaret was taking photographs. At the age of 16, her love of beauty and fashion led her to live and work in places like Milan, Italy and New York City. Although her extraordinary life as a Master Makeup Artist was filled with experiences and encounters beyond her wildest dreams, there never was a shadow of a doubt that photography was and is her first love.
Margaret is now a full time photographer and photo retoucher specializing in beauty and fashion, where she uses all of her past experience to produce the highest quality beauty and portrait photographs. She has taken many actor headshots as well as portraits for prominent leaders. Her clients include veteran actress Andie MacDowell as well as Technology Leaders for TEDTalks group in Los Angeles.
